Flowers...

*
I'm not the kind of person who loves flowers. No no. In fact as far as I remember, I always dislike flower, especially bougainvillea, as I had bad experience with this flower. However, when I grow up, I have been searching a flower that reflects myself (still could not figure out why).
*
Finally, I found tulip. I was so in love with this flower. It does not matter, any colours, but for me it reflects myself. Alone, simple and strong. Surprisingly, this flower can grow in cold and snowy winter. Most tulip have one flower for one stem, but a few species have up to four flowers.
*
*
Then, a few years back, I watched this film (which now one of my favourite film), Pontianak Harum Sundal Malam. Yes, I love sundal malam, or in English we call it as tuberose.
*
Seharum bunga yang menggoda
Sekadar di pandang usah di puja
Kau pasti tak percaya kasihku bukan
Untukmu sayang...
*
I have never come across this flower (since I have come across with tulip at Mid Valley). I can fall in love with this flower and it surprises me myself. Based on what I read from Internet, most cultures believes that this flower is a magical flower. Most importantly, this flower is used as one of the ingredients in making perfumes.
*
The first time I came across this flower is a few months ago, when I joined the trip to Cameron- Kelantan- Terengganu. Although I have never seen it in real life before, I quickly notice this flower. And yes, the smell is so magical.
*
If you watch Sepet, in one of the scene you will see Orked (Sharifah Amani) told Jason that she loves tuberose. She told Jason, "it smells like heaven". Surprisingly, it is also true! When I went to KL a few days ago, I stopped at KL Sentral (which is one of my favourite lepak place) and there is an exhebition about Independence. At first, I did not look at the flower arrangement (knowing that I do not really like flowers). Then, I smell a sweet smell and it is familiar to me. I looked around and I quickly spotted this flower!
*
*
I just love these flowers. And I do not wish to fall in love with other flowers. Hopefully I can plant my very own tuberose at my very own home. It will be such a Home Sweet Home... ^_^

BookFest @ KLCC

I spent three days at KL and my main motive is to visit BookFest at Klcc, organized by Popular Bookstore. As a book lover, I consider this as an important thing to do (another motive is to find FT's latest book, Ingin Jadi Nasrallah).
*
I do not remember how many hours that I spent at the BookFest. But what I know is, I have spent more than RM 2000. I bought some books for myself, considering that I just celebrate my 25th birthday and I must buy something for myself as a present.
*
When I reached at the Convention Centre, I was actually surprised that visitors have to pay to enter the BookFest, RM 2 per person and it is valid for the whole day. Before that, I was stopped by guard and they checked our temperature and stick a blue sticker for those who passed. I understand that people fear this H1N1 virus.
I stopped at Grolier's booth and spent almost 30 minutes at that booth (maybe more tahn 30 minutes). The salesperson tried to convince me to buy three sets of book and it costs me RM 1888. Phew, I did actually reserve soem money from this month's salary just to buy FT book's. Suddenly I bought soemthing else. Never mind, I consider it as an investment for the future.

Grolier's booth

After completing my order at Groiler's booth, I started book hunting. I was a little bit lost until I found an area which sold a lot of Islamic books by Galeri Ilmu and PTS. Wow! 25% rebate if you buy other books too. So I grabbed Ustaz Hasrizal's books and Kak Anis' book. I have been considering buying those books since they promote it in my favourite mag, Anis.

These are some of the books that I bought at BookFest. However, the first three books were not bought at BookFest, but I bought it at MPH, Mid Valley. Luckily I bout it at MPH since it is quite difficult to find Malay books at Popular (it I'm not mistaken, Popular is based from Singapore).

I also bought books for my friend's twin as I really forgot about the invitation that she gave me for her sons' birthday. So sorry... I also bought stamp so that my job will be easier. Luckily I found it as I have been searching for it since early of this year. Jokingly I told the promoter, the first stamp that will be out of ink is 'INCOMPLETE', and it is actually true.

English novels? I have two to three more novels to finish but I still buy new ones... Sigh...

Mencari Calon Pengapit...

*
Sibuk dengan urusan perkahwinan? Masih tercari- cari calon yang sesuai menjadi pengapit anda? Jangan bimbang, saya akan uruskan...
*
Ececeh... promosi diri nampak... Anda pernah menonton cerita 27 Dresses?

*
Ramadhan tahun ini, macam tahun lepas. Berbuka ala kadar sahaja. Semalam, salah seorang pelajar ku di pusat tuisyen bertanya, "Teacher, teacher buka apa semalam?". Dengan selamba dugong nya aku membalas, "roti cicah sup aje. Supnya pun masin sebab saya terlebih letak garam". Dan pelajar tersebut tercengang mendengarnya.
*
Kata Han, "kakak, jangan lupa beli keropok macam hari tu tau!". Wah, bersemangat sungguh dia menge'pau' aku. Tak mengapa, hari ini pun hari gaji kan. Tak salah menggembirakan hati orang lain. Oh ya, anak jiran aku kecil lagi, baru Darjah Dua.
*
Aku rindu berjemaah terawih di surau Blok G MPTI...rindunya...
*
Nak cerita pasal Ramadhan ku dua tahun lepas? Baik tak usah, nanti ada pula entri nya tak habis di tulis sebab aku dah banjir...

Mimpi- mimpi...

*
Sungguh.
*
Masih teringat- ingat pada Mimpi- Mimpi Lintang. Aduhai Ikal, kasihannya kamu!
*

Ramadhan Karim!

*
Lama juga saya tak letak entri baru kat blog ni. Bukan tak rindu, tapi dah beberapa minggu ni ada saja kerja tiap hari Sabtu. Mula dengan kursus di JB. Minggu depannya sekolah ganti (hari Sabtu) dan bertugas pula sebagai pengapit Puan Fashya (hari Ahad). Penat, penat... (Sigh...)
*
Hari ni, hari pertama Ramadhan. Puan Fashya telah selamat rasanya berpuasa di sisi Encik-Suaminya. ms tepung pula mungkin sedang berjalan- jalan cari barang denga incik-kacang-senyumnya. ainyusof pula masih dok melangut depan laptopnya, kebosanan... Apa taknya, semalam hari terakhir sekolah. Cikgu- cikgu lain sibuk bergembira mahu balik kampung, tapi ainyusof memang balik kampung hari- hari. (Sigh again...)
*
Ini Ramadhan kedua tanpa Mak. Persaan masih bercampur baur.
*
*
Dah lama- lama tak menulis ni, lambat sedikit nak warm up. Amin~~~

(ainyusof rindu pada Mr. A!)
